The Crown was transformed by Bentheim from a very run down establishment to one of Alistair Sawday’s hotels of the year. The project won a Planning Award for it’s skilful remodelling of the exterior and Fiona Duncan, the Telegraph’s Hotel Guru wrote that “we loved the imaginatively executed ‘Nantucket meets Copenhagen’ feel”.
